Importance of Dispatcher Assisted Telephone CPR

We believe that a program in telephone CPR is a vital part of a program to improve survival rates from cardiac arrest in a community. If CPR can be started before EMS personnel arrive, the chances of surviving cardiac arrest double.

If you are skeptical about the ability to deliver CPR instructions and the ability of untrained individuals to perform CPR we urge you to listen to the following examples:

Listen To Dispatcher Assisted Chest Compresstions

Listen To Dispatcher Assisted Cardiac Arrest Identification

Listen To Dispatcher Assisted Identification of Agonal Breathing

Listen To Dispatcher Assisted Ventilation Instructions
